Prime Minister Rumen Radev met with the President of America for Bulgaria Foundation (ABF) Nancy Schiller. ABF Executive Director Desislava Taliokova attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed projects that with ABF support conserve the Bulgarian cultural heritage and preserve historical memory. Prominent among these is the restoration of the Episcopal Basilica of Philippopolis and the museum house of the patriarch of Bulgarian literature – Ivan Vazov in Sofia, which will reopen soon with a renovated museum collection to show the lifestyle and lifework of the Vazov family.
Prime Minister Rumen Radev noted that it is in the interest of Bulgaria to fund and implement more research projects and high-tech initiatives. For their part, the ABF party raised questions concerning the legal framework that governs the activities of NGOs.
