
Maria Nedina is a graduate of the Sofia High School of Mathematics. She holds a degree in international business administration from the Rotterdam School of Management where after graduation she was a lecturer in research and technology management.
Maria Nedina has experience in large international companies where her fields were data science and project management.
In 2020 Maria Nedina was a co-founder of OpenPandemic, a pandemic management platform whose mission is to inform governments, health institutions and the population so as to control the spread of viruses across the country.
Maria Nedina joined the Executive branch of power a few years ago as an adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister for EU Funds Management in a caretaker government headed by Stefan Yanev. Subsequently she was an adviser to the Minister of Energy and to the Minister of Innovation and Growth and in 2023-2025 she was the Head of Office of Ministers of Environment.
