Evtim Miloshev - Minister of Culture

Evtim Miloshev is a Bulgarian producer, media manager and socially dedicated individual with longtime inputs to the development of the Bulgarian media, cultural and public setting.

 

Evtim Miloshev was born on 2 May 1968 in Sofia. He graduated from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy. Next, he specialized in screen directing at the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov”.

 

Evtim Miloshev started his career at the Bulgarian National Television in the period of crucial social and media transformations in Bulgaria and over the years he became one of the recognizable figures in the Bulgarian audio-visual industry and cultural life.

 

As a producer and director Evtim Miloshev was engaged in major TV, film, performing arts and public projects for all TV channels with national coverage and in a number of charity and culture initiatives of public importance.

 

Evtim Miloshev is one of the founders of the Association of Film and TV Producers in Bulgaria and for many years its Chair with an active contribution to the development of the Bulgarian TV and film industry and to the improvement of the professional situation in this sector.

 

In 2024-2025 Evtim Miloshev served as the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria as a member of caretaker governments.

 

Evtim Miloshev’s contribution to Bulgarian culture and public life brought him a number of prestigious awards, such as the Golden Age Badge of Honor of the Ministry of Culture, the Medal of Honor of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Golden Feather Award, among other.
