I'm already in Bulgaria. What to do now?

I have a biometric passport

1. If you have biometric passport, you can reside on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria without a vision requirement within 90 days for a period of 6 months. For holders of non-biometric passports, the visa requirement under the Visa Facilitation Agreement remains.

I do not have a biometric passport

      1. Applying for international protection

- You can submit the application for international protection in the Republic of Bulgaria to any Bulgarian state body, which will forward it to the State Agency for Refugees with the Council of Ministers. More information can be found here.
