The Government together with the Bulgarian Red Cross are making arrangements for humanitarian aid to people in need in Ukraine

The Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) prepares to launch a national relief campaign to raise funds for the population in Ukraine who was struck by the conflict. The announcement about the campaign will be made on Monday, 28 February.

 

The Bulgarian Red Cross joins to contribute to the Government’s arrangements for humanitarian aid to the people in need in Ukraine. The BRC works in coordination with the government institutions and will give support for the assistance to the conflict-stricken people who arrive in Bulgaria.

 

The BRC contributes 10,000 (ten thousand) Swiss francs from its Disasters, Accidents and Crises Fund, in response to the emergency appeal of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent, to support the humanitarian activities of the Ukrainian Red Cross (URC) to meet the emergent and pressing needs of the stricken population.
