Bulgarian citizens in the territory of Ukraine who want evacuation may contact the Situational Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria via e-mail: crisis@mfa.bg. Such fellow countrymen should provide the following details:
Name, patronymic, surname;
Telephone number to be contacted;
Location (town/village and address);
Type of the Bulgarian identity document that they hold.

Upon arrival in Bulgaria the Bulgarian citizens shall present a Bulgarian identity document – an identity card or a passport. Even where identity documents are beyond the expiry date, Bulgarian citizens will be free to enter at the country’s border-cross checkpoints.
Ukrainian citizens will be free to enter at a Bulgarian border-cross checkpoint upon the presentation of a Ukrainian biometric passport and to stay on the territory of the European Union (Bulgaria included), visa-free up to 90 days within each 6 months. If they do not hold a biometric passport, a visa is required
